Position Summary

TNT is currently seeking a skilled Human Resources Manager who is passionate about recruiting, supporting, and developing talent through our company's policies and managing procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible and reliable, and willing to regularly contribute to making our company a better place to work through strategic planning. Applicants should have a solid knowledge of various HR functions and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Help develop, implement, support, and review all HR department initiatives, policies, procedures, and systems.
• Lead training and oversight on policies and procedures.
• Continued involvement in and refinement of the recruitment process, including generating job descriptions, posting advertisements, and managing the hiring process.
• Strategically develop onboarding plans.
• Cultivate training and development programs.
• Participate in performance evaluation processes.
• Handle disciplinary and grievance issues with composure and confidentiality.
• Manage employee records (attendance, EEO data, etc.) and comply with all policies and legal requirements.
• Monitor working conditions for legal compliance.
• Conduct short- and long-term prioritization for the organization.
• Maintain creativity and contribute to a fun, professional, and energetic environment.
• Ensure everyone has the opportunity to develop their skills and new competencies.

Human Resources Specialist Requirements and Qualifications

• At least two to five years’ related experience required.
• SHRM CP or SPHR certification preferred.
• Associates/Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, knowledge of HRMS is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Aptitude for critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision making.
• Strength of character, ethics, commitment, and reliability.
• HR Credentials (e.g. PHR from the HR Certification Institute).
