About the Role
The Human Resources Manager is directly responsible for carrying out the overall administration and coordination of the human resources function within the designated program/s and serves as a Business Partner for the local leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with local leadership teams to create a culture of customer service, quality, integrity, and accountability wherein employees are highly engaged and empowered to ensure clients receive superior treatment in a safe and compassionate environment.
- Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel within designated areas of responsibility; assists in the development, communication, and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
- Executes the performance management plans within the company to ensure all employees receive timely feedback at designated intervals (e.g., 90 days and annual reviews).
- Responsible for setting up HR day-to-day operations within a new location or in acquisition scenarios where needed.
- Coordinates with Benefits Administrator to ensure benefit information is communicated both timely and accurately.
- Collaborates with HR colleagues on various initiatives within the company.
- Ensures all established training requirements are met for each employee.
- Serves as a point of contact for employees addressing concerns regarding their employment and works with management to resolve them.
- Collaborates with the Executive Director, Regional Director, CHRO, and/or Insperity on internal investigations as warranted.
- Coaches and advises managers on handling employee issues and ensures all employees are treated fairly and consistently within the law. Recommends disciplinary action up to and including termination when necessary.
- Establishes and maintains department records and reports in compliance with all regulatory and licensing bodies.
- Completes all reporting requirements accurately and timely.
- Participates in leadership and departmental staff meetings and attends other meetings as needed.
Requirements
- Seven (7) or more years of human resources generalist experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
- PHR or Human Resources Certificate preferred.
- Experience in the healthcare industry and/or residential treatment field preferred.
- Subject matter expert on federal and state-specific employment and wage and hour law.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Joint Commission and state regulatory requirements as they relate to Human Resources.
- Experience with Ultimate Kronos Group preferred.
- Required to occasionally travel to other facilities, both by automobile and air; a current, valid driver’s license is required.
Additional Details
- Experience in larger-scale Healthcare and/or Behavioral Healthcare settings strongly preferred.
- Position is in-office in St. Cloud, MN.
Pay
Salary range for this position is $94,000 to $110,000, depending on education and experience. We are committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation. An individual’s pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions. Additionally, we consider internal equity to ensure fairness within our organization.
