This is an opportunity to join a globally recognised chemical-operations site operating within a vibrant plant environment, supporting a diverse workforce across engineering, operations, projects, maintenance and commercial functions.

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site HR payroll and benefits correspondent supporting managers and employees across engineering, operations, maintenance, projects, safety, and commercial functions.
• Deliver core HR activities including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, workforce planning, and policy guidance.
• Build strong relationships across the plant to support engagement, retention, and organisational effectiveness while ensuring consistent HR practices.
• Partner with operational leadership to support a safe, high-performing workforce within a regulated industrial environment.

Requirements

• Previous HR payroll and benefits experience within industrial environments such as chemical plants, refineries, terminals, tank farms, manufacturing facilities, or heavy industry operations.
• Experience supporting technical and operational populations including engineers, technicians, operators, project teams, maintenance personnel, and field-based employees.
• Strong understanding of employee relations, stakeholder management, and delivering HR solutions in fast-paced site environments.
• Practical, visible, and relationship-led approach with the confidence to influence across all levels of an operational business.

Pay

The salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, plus bonus and strong benefits. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set.
