HR Manager

About The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee the day-to-day human resources function for their growing team. This is a hands-on role that partners closely with leadership to support employees throughout the full HR lifecycle while helping foster a positive, compliant, and engaging workplace.

Pay

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and managers.
• Manage recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
• Partner with leadership on employee coaching, conflict resolution, and performance discussions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and workers' compensation.
• Maintain HRIS records and personnel files.
• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
• Support compensation planning and annual performance review processes.
• Coordinate employee training and development initiatives.
• Promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive human resources experience.
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus, but not required.
