Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with company leadership to uphold rigorous safety standards and enforce adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
- Partner effectively with Talent Acquisition to strategically identify and recruit top-tier candidates to meet staffing needs.
- Conduct comprehensive applicant assessments, leveraging in-depth interviews and meticulous analysis.
- Cultivate a culture of open communication and proactive resolution of employee concerns in collaboration with Plant Management.
- Ensure meticulous compliance with all legal requirements and governmental regulations governing human resources functions.
- Strategically plan and execute comprehensive new employee orientation programs to instill a positive alignment with corporate objectives.
- Facilitate targeted management training initiatives covering critical HR aspects such as interviewing, hiring, performance reviews, and workplace safety.
- Develop and implement sophisticated talent management strategies aimed at attracting, nurturing, and retaining top talent to meet present and future organizational needs.
- Maintain impeccable records of employee data, benefits enrollment, and personnel transactions while adeptly managing complex employee relations matters with sensitivity and discretion.
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in human resources management or equivalent management experience
- Solid understanding of the key principles of employment law
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Proficient with computer technologies including MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook
- Email/Calendar
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university
- Familiarity with HR systems such as Kronos and SuccessFactors
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capacity to maintain composure in high-pressure scenarios such as disciplinary hearings or staff conflicts
