Summary of Position

The HR IS Specialist manages facility materials, company property, and Information Security protocols to protect Hyundai Transys Seating System's assets. This role integrates administrative support with rigorous data and physical security management, supporting the Human Resources division with personnel-related security tasks.

Technical

  • Oversees IT hardware asset management and user account issuance

  • Manages office renovations and maintains office assets
  • Assists with office emergencies and document management
  • Orders office supplies and makes routine purchases
  • Manages utilities and leases
  • Completes daily headcount reports

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Regularly required to talk and hear
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, squat, bend at the knees and waist, and walk
  • Required to use hands to type, handle objects, and paperwork
  • Required to reach and hold on to items at chest level or reach above the shoulder
  • May be required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Required to use close vision and be able to focus
  • Required to use ability to work extended hours as needed
  • Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required in each area

Position Requirements and Qualifications

  • Three (3) or more years of progressive HR work in Information Security, IT Asset Management, or General Affairs
  • Experience in Organizational Development solutions (Team Building, Process Mapping, Onboarding, Succession Planning, Leadership Development, etc.)
  • Experience in Security Solutions (Access Control, User Account Management, Badge Systems, and CCTV Audit processes)
  • Experience at an Automotive OEM and/or Tier 1 supplier is helpful
  • Ability to perform basic data analysis, financial calculations, security risk assessment, and reasoning analysis
  • College level mathematical skills with understanding of general business applications
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs and prioritize activities under strict security deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in both strategic and tactical roles
  • Ability to create reports, business correspondence, and procedures
  • Exceptional independent judgment and discretion with the ability to take initiative on assigned tasks without significant supervision
  • Systematic thinking ability and strong liaison and management skills
  • Detail oriented, logical, and methodical approach to problem solving
  • High level of integrity and ability to always maintain extreme confidentiality
  • Resourceful and well organized
  • Experience partnering with HR colleagues to address the needs of differing business units while considering alignment with company objectives
  • Professional knowledge of employment law

  • Thorough understanding and working knowledge of automotive plants and processes/principles, company products, trade terminology, security principles (Physical & Information Security) and manufacturing processes is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Korean is a plus

Education

  • Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Administration degrees preferred

Software Skills Required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience working with ADP
