HR Intern

About the Role

FORVIA is looking for a year-round HR Intern to support the HR Manager in day-to-day HR management at our Simpsonville, KY location. This role provides real-life experience in a fast-paced HR team within a manufacturing/production environment. Duties will vary based on educational goals and organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Collect information and prepare reports in line with Group HR policies.
• Support all personnel files, employee administration, and documentation.
• Maintain employee files and answer employee queries.
• Assist in tracking training data for all departments.
• Prepare HR correspondence and plant communications.
• Lead or participate in employee engagement activities.
• Contribute to other HR initiatives as assigned by the Site HR Manager or Site Plant Manager.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an accredited 4-year college or university, taking a minimum of 12 credit hours during the semester of employment, or part of a university-credited co-op or intern program.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Minimum 2.8 GPA.
• Spanish-speaking proficiency.
