We are seeking a dynamic Consulting HR Generalist with Payroll Skills to join our team. This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional who is passionate about Human Resources and Payroll Management.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of payroll, including wage determination, garnishments, 401K deductions, and benefit deductions.
- Oversee recruiting efforts to attract top talent and manage the onboarding process for new hires.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with employment law.
- Administer benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement, and other employee benefits.
- Utilize HRIS systems for data management and reporting.
- Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Manage talent within the organization, including performance reviews, promotions, and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with management to develop compensation and benefit strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on payroll management.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures, employment law, and HR best practices.
- Experience with HRIS systems and payroll software.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Proven experience in managing talent, training & development, and onboarding.
- Comprehensive understanding of 401K deductions, benefit deductions, and benefits administration.
- Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification is preferred.
