HR Generalist, Office of SMD Operations

About the role

The HR Generalist, Global SMD Operations, supports the operational success of the SMD Office by coordinating tasks, improving workflows, and managing lifecycle events for senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Support workflow evolution by identifying inefficiencies and implementing operational enhancements.
• Coordinate daily tasks to ensure seamless support for senior leaders, focusing on SMD compensation.
• Aid in the implementation of standardized processes across business segments, applying best practices while accommodating local needs.
• Act as a liaison between the SMD Office and various internal partners, including HR Operations, Regional HR teams, and Global COEs.
• Administer and coordinate key stages of the SMD lifecycle and KSIP program, including onboarding, promotions, transitions, and separations.
• Provide hands-on support for core SMD processes to resolve bottlenecks and enhance cross-functional support.
• Offer guidance on global HR standards to ensure consistent experiences for all SMDs.
• Ensure processes align with global standards while respecting local legal and cultural requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• 3+ years of experience in HR, focused on projects, process improvement, and change management.
• Ability to travel to clients and FTI offices as needed.
• Preferred: Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with CRM software, onboarding platforms, performance management systems, leave management systems, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
