HR Generalist | Full Time | Day
About the role
The Human Resources Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting the HR team and business customers. They collaborate on projects and initiatives, maintain compliance with laws and regulations, and assist with employee relations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HRBP's and HR team on short and long-term projects in support of organizational needs.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment law and regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Review policies and practices to ensure compliance.
- Handle Employee relations inquiries from applicants, employees and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Partner with key stakeholders within HR to create/run reports, conduct analysis, identify key trends and identify actionable items.
- Suggest interventions and solutions to improve team processes, effectiveness or efficiencies.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or compensating years of experience.
- Certification, Registration & Licensure: SHRM Certification to be obtained within one year of hire into role.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years working in an HR role.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems like Workday is strongly desired.
Qualifications
Healthcare experience is preferred.
