About the role
The HR Team at Intrepid Potash Inc. supports a workplace where people belong, grow, and excel together. They help individuals, families, and communities flourish by stewarding a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Handling job postings, job fairs, search firm engagements, candidate applications, prescreening, interviewing, and selection.
- Delivering differentiated onboarding processes, including pre-employment steps, day one experiences, and 30-60-90 day plans.
- Engaging and connecting the workforce through daily field visits, timely responses to employee questions, reward and recognition initiatives, and community relations activities.
- Growing people by assisting with training classes, developing strategies, interpreting policies, analyzing metrics, and driving continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to apply HR knowledge to business strategies.
- Effective collaboration and communication with all levels within the organization.
- Generating ideas and solutions, planning, prioritizing, and organizing tasks with sound judgment.
- Attention to detail in administrative tasks.
- Proficiency with MS Excel for data analysis and continuous improvement.
- Related HR generalist experience, ideally in industries like hospitality, retail, auto rental, staffing, teaching, etc.
- Prior Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, journalism, math, accounting/finance, or economics, or equivalent experience.
Qualifications
- Humility and a growth mindset, open to learning from others.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of HR laws and principles.
- Proficiency with MS Excel for data analysis.
