Since May 2021, Silent-Aire, a technology-driven company specializing in hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions, has been part of Johnson Controls' Data Center Solutions group. Silent-Aire employs over 3,000 people across 13 manufacturing facilities in Edmonton, Alberta; Gilbert, Arizona; and Dublin, Ireland, with sales and service centers in Seattle, Washington; Boardman, Oregon; Ashburn, Virginia; and Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and execute core HR services to employees and managers in accordance with Johnson Controls (JCI) principles, corporate policies, and plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with Federal and State laws regarding employee files, terminations, and resignations.
- Follow up on resignations to understand reasons for leaving and track employee turnover via email to the HR Manager.
- Conduct effective exit interviews with office and front-line staff, complete the Exit Checklist accurately, and file appropriately.
- Maintain and update company policies and procedures in accordance with federal and state legislation.
- Keep accurate, up-to-date, and complete personnel records.
- Communicate HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations to internal stakeholders.
- Serve as the first point of contact for front-line employee questions or concerns.
- Assist in monitoring the HR Confidential mailbox.
Requirements
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking)
- Continued education or degree in Human Resources or related field, or comparable work experience
- 1-2 years of HR experience
- Basic knowledge and understanding of human resources principles and practices
- Experience with an HRIS system and ability to navigate confidentially within the system
- Detail-oriented with a flawless execution mindset
- Excellent at developing collaborative relationships within a diverse group of leaders
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday and UKG
- Payroll experience using ADP and Kronos
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Pay
Hiring salary range: $70,000–$85,000. Salary is determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
