Essential Functions
- Administers various human resource plans and procedures as assigned.
- Affirms and implements human capital policies and procedures, based on business needs and legal changes.
- Maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual in partnership with the HR team.
- Communicates with the HR team to ensure awareness of what is happening in assigned areas for business continuity, risk mitigation and alignment.
- Supports full life cycle recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt employees.
- Works with hiring managers to properly prepare for employee’s start with the organization.
- Works with Director of HR to assist with employee relations, including assisting with employee related issues and/or investigations.
- Manages special projects related to talent development, strategic planning, people data reports and other ad-hoc works in progress.
- Assists in evaluating reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
- Maintains HRIS application (UKG) to ensure accuracy of employee data.

Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting.
- This is largely a sedentary role; however, employee may be required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, kneel and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position.
- Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Local travel to various worksites is required.
