About The Role
The HR Generalist at Humani HR plays a vital role in supporting multiple HR Business Partners across various industries and jurisdictions. The HR Generalist will serve as a key point of contact for clients, assisting with a broad spectrum of HR functions, including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, compliance, recruitment, and HRIS management.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a client-facing HR support role
- 1-2 years of experience processing multiple payrolls across various jurisdictions and platforms
- At least 1 year of full-cycle high-volume recruitment experience (handling 6-10 requisitions simultaneously)
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field
- A professional HR designation (such as SHRM) is an asset
- Experience supporting employees and leaders in unionized workplaces is a strong asset
- In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and relevant regulations (Health and Safety, Pay Equity, Accessibility Act, Worker’s Compensation, etc.)
- Proficiency in HR software, HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong data analysis skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- Passion for staying current with HR trends and evolving practices
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR support to HR Business Partners, including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and general HR administration
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Support recruitment efforts by preparing job descriptions, reviewing resumes, conducting preliminary interviews, and coordinating client interviews
- Draft offer letters, conduct reference checks, and manage candidate sourcing activities
- Review and manage updates to HR software and spearhead HRIS implementations as needed
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies, employee handbooks, and health and safety programs
- Ensure all HR practices comply with applicable employment laws and regulations, supporting HR audits and compliance initiatives
- Assist in designing and analyzing performance management and compensation programs
- Support KPI reporting and project tracking for various HR initiatives
- Provide on-site HR support, including workplace investigations, inspections, and participation in client meetings
- Collaborate with clients to develop tailored HR solutions that address complex organizational challenges
