HR Generalist
About the role
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support leaders and employees in Bellevue, Washington through thoughtful people strategies that strengthen team performance and workplace engagement. This Long-term Contract position will serve as a trusted partner to the business, helping guide employee relations, performance practices, policy application, and retention efforts.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders and employees across the organization to provide broad human resources support in recruitment, employee relations, performance processes, and day-to-day HR operations.
- Support employee relations matters by documenting issues, assisting with investigations, facilitating conversations, and contributing to appropriate praise and disciplinary processes when needed.
- Coordinate performance management activities such as review cycles, merit planning support, and compensation-related documentation during scheduled review periods.
- Explain benefit programs and compensation practices to employees and candidates, helping ensure clear communication and consistent administration.
- Maintain accurate personnel records, prepare employment documents, and handle routine HR administrative tasks that keep department operations running smoothly.
- Partners with the HR team on compliance-related activities involving leave administration, and policy adherence across the employee lifecycle.
- Use HR and workplace systems, including Paycom, safety-related software, and Microsoft Office tools, to track information, prepare documents, and support reporting needs.
- Provide flexible support across the HR function and contribute to special projects or operational priorities as business needs evolve.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate brings a service-focused mindset, strong communication skills, and an interest in contributing to work that supports community impact. They should have a minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
