Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting activities for clinical and non-clinical positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies.
  • Facilitate pre-employment activities, including job offers, background checks, and onboarding requirements.
  • Lead new hire orientation and onboarding programs to ensure a positive employee experience and successful transition into the organization.
  • Conduct 30-, 60-, and 90-day check-ins with new hires to support engagement, retention, and onboarding success.

Employee Relations, Engagement & Communication

  • Serve as a primary HR contact for employees regarding workplace concerns and employment-related questions.
  • Plan and support employee engagement, recognition, and team-building events, including spirit weeks, appreciation days, and department celebrations.
  • Craft, edit, and distribute the weekly HR internal newsletter, highlighting new hires, benefits updates, upcoming events, and important HR reminders.
  • Aid managers with employee counseling, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and documentation.
  • Support termination processing, corrective action documentation, and exit interviews.

Benefits, Leave Administration & Payroll Support

  • Administer employee benefit programs and assist employees with benefit-related questions.
  • Afford daily benefits administration, including enrollments, benefit changes, and COBRA processing.
  • Conduct benefits orientation sessions for new hires and support annual open enrollment activities.
  • Manage leave administration processes, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and other leave programs.
  • Provide payroll preparation and processing support, ensuring employee changes are accurately entered and processed in a timely manner.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain employee records and data within the HRIS system with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Administer HRIS workflows, employee data changes, reporting, and system processes.
  • Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring employee training assignments, records, and completion data are accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain compliance tracking for licensure, certifications, and vaccinations.
  • Collaborate with IT to facilitate system access setup and removal for new hires and terminations.
  • Support the formulation and implementation of effective HR management practices and policies.
  • Prepare HR reports, workforce metrics, and data analytics to support organizational decision-making.

Administrative & Organizational Support

  • Provide support for monthly leadership meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, distribution of notes, and action-item follow-up.
  • Cook up office supply orders and maintain inventory.
  • Monitor, sort, and distribute incoming mail and coordinate package pick-ups as needed.
  • Update and maintain administrative documents, forms, and templates using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Aid in marketing communications and supply orders related to organizational initiatives.
  • Manage holiday signage, office closure notices, and employee communication boards.
  • Submit and monitor maintenance service requests.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets, trackers, and reports for ongoing projects and expense tracking.
  • Manage and support additional HR projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

Pay & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $26.50 - $32.00 per hour

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources experience.
  • Experience supporting recruiting and employee onboarding activities.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and human resources best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HR technology systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to use a computer and standard office equipment for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SHRM-CP and/or PHR certification.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience administering employee benefits and leave programs.
  • Experience supporting employee relations, performance management, and compliance initiatives.
  • Healthcare industry experience is welcomed but not required.
