About the role
The role owns day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, and talent programs, partnering with managers to scale healthy, high-performing teams. The HR Generalist ensures compliance, optimizes people processes, and shapes an exceptional employee experience across the entire lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and HRIS maintenance in Rippling or Workday
- Partner with department leads to coach managers on employee relations, performance management, and organizational design
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple jurisdictions
- Drive performance review cycles, compensation planning, and employee engagement surveys
- Analyze HR metrics and turnover data to recommend operational improvements and policy updates
- Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to align recruiting strategies with broader workforce planning goals
Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience as an HR Generalist or People Operations Specialist in a fast-paced technology environment
- Demonstrated expertise in US labor laws, employee relations, and HR compliance
- Hands-on experience administering modern HRIS platforms (e.g., Rippling, Gusto, Workday) and ATS tools
- Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and stakeholder-management skills with high emotional intelligence
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Skills
- Bonus: SHRM-CP or PHR certification, and experience scaling remote teams
