Responsibilities

• Business & HR Strategy Implementation & Influence: Support development and execution of a human resources strategy and services that corresponds with the company’s goals to strengthen and sustain the company.
• People Services Delivery:
  • Uphold Bath and Body Works values and standards of conduct by managing and resolving high volume, escalated HR matters including associate inquiries and concerns, crisis & emergency support, conflict resolution, AP dispositions, and HR investigations in a timely fashion and within guidelines.
  • Provide advice and counsel to associates and people leaders on associate relations, absence management, and performance management.
  • Identify and assess trends and risk within the organization to drive initiatives, policy improvements, and overall culture.
  • Collaborate with Associate Connect leaders, HR Business Partners, and people leaders on associate relations, performance management, and trends impacting the area of support.
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and practices are adhered to in compliance with federal, state, and/or municipal laws.
• Culture, Change & Engagement:
  • Deliver a best-in-class HR experience to associates using effective communication through high volume interactions face-to-face, by phone, and through written channels.
  • Support and complete HR and change initiatives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Human Resources function.
• Experience working in a retail environment a plus, but not required.
• Proven ability to lead through change and navigate the fast-paced demands of a retail environment.
• Expert in managing associate relations, performance management, case management, and other people strategies.
• Knowledge and expertise in employment laws and regulations.
• Ability to collaborate and work across multiple business units, buildings, and geographic markets.
• Proficient and up-to-date in current HR technology, systems, and analytics.
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with demonstrated ability to de-escalate highly emotional situations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred.
