About the role
Atoms is looking for a detail-oriented HR Generalist to serve as the administrative and operational backbone for our Kitchens, Picnic, and general HR teams. This role is designed for a professional with 2–4 years of experience who is eager to grow their skills in employee relations, manager enablement, and data-driven HR strategy.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for daily hourly employee escalations, resolving issues professionally.
- Address employee concerns and grievances while providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Partner with the Director of HR to solve complex issues, build manager resources, and draft Performance Recovery Plans (PRPs).
- Coach managers on performance-related issues and support performance evaluation processes.
- Manage the daily HR ticketing queue, ensuring all SLAs are met.
- Process voluntary terminations and facility pay changes with high accuracy.
- Collaborate with Payroll to conduct regular hourly timekeeping audits.
- Aid in wage equity analyses to ensure fair and compliant compensation across business units.
- Optimize HR reporting processes and utilize data to identify trends in turnover and performance.
- Support strategic workforce planning and talent development initiatives alongside business leaders.
- Identify areas for improvement in employee engagement and organizational productivity.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of HR experience.
- Strong administrative and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage complex employee relations and professional conflict resolution.
- Experience with HRIS, ticketing systems, and payroll software.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to handle day-to-day HR operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of labor laws and regulations.

Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $99,000 - $117,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package. You may also be eligible for equity awards and an annual performance-based bonus.
