About the role
The Human Resources Generalist supports the Production Operations team within a dynamic People Experience and Technology (PXT) function. This role focuses on enhancing organizational effectiveness through improved HR processes, systems, and manager capabilities, while maintaining a strong employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Leverage employee feedback data and conduct regular floor walks to identify employee needs, improve engagement, and develop proactive solutions with leadership teams.
- Provide HR guidance and support in areas including talent management, performance management, compensation, and employee relations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee concerns and escalation matters.
- Conduct workplace investigations and respond to employee inquiries with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
- Lead and support site-specific HR initiatives, including organizational design, workforce planning, business continuity planning, and skills development programs.
- Partner with leaders to establish and evaluate culture, engagement, and talent objectives, creating action plans to address opportunities.
- Develop and implement people programs and policies that enhance the employee experience.
- Coach leaders to strengthen management effectiveness, decision-making, and employee engagement.
- Evaluate and improve HR structures, processes, and systems, identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and standardization.
- Design and deliver training programs to support HR capability building and adoption of new processes.
- Translate business priorities into impactful HR solutions that drive organizational performance and operational success.
- Lead change management efforts for HR initiatives, ensuring effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and successful implementation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
- Experience supporting hourly employee populations in a fast-paced operations, manufacturing, or production environment.
- PREFERRED: Master's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Experience supporting HR programs through organizational change and transformation.
- Hands-on leadership approach with strong business partnership capabilities.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using HR metrics and analytics to drive results.
- Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience working with executive-level leadership.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
