About the role
The HR Generalist serves as a trusted partner to leaders and associates within the community by:
- Serving as a primary point of contact for associates and managers regarding Human Resources policies, practices, and associate relations matters.
- Coordinating and facilitating the new hire onboarding process for employees once they are on-site at the community.
- Preparing and conducting new hire orientation programs.
- Processing HR-related paperwork and documentation in accordance with established procedures.
- Managing associate relations inquiries and supporting resolutions in alignment with Asbury policies and procedures.
- Interpreting and applying HR policies, practices, and guidelines as needed.
- Tracking key HR metrics and maintaining compliance with applicable state and federal employment regulations.
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department through a variety of administrative responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered).
- Minimum of three years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) preferred.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms (UKG Pro, a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing business needs.
Pay
$67,000 - $72,000 annually.
