HR Generalist 4 - Temple Department
About the Role
This role supports HR core and essential work for the Temple Department, requiring expert professional knowledge. Employees at this level work with a high degree of latitude, handle the most complex issues and problems, and report to the Manager of Department HR. Frequent partnership with workforce and department leaders, the department HR team, and Centers of Excellence (COEs) is expected.
Responsibilities
- Interpret, administer, and implement HR Policy and guiding principles
- Lead talent acquisition, including screening, interviewing, and consulting
- Coach leadership regarding compensation decisions and performance management
- Facilitate performance management calibration among leadership
- Lead workforce relations efforts and resolve disputes
- Conduct benefit and compensation analysis, proposals, approval requests, and merit increase processes
- Resolve compensation and benefit issues
- Administer promotion and in-line adjustment review and approval processes
- Administer and support reduction in force (RIF) efforts
- Manage labor relations for a unionized workforce
- Act as a workstream lead, directing, managing, and assigning day-to-day work
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 6 years of industry-related experience
- Expert knowledge of HR operations
- Familiarity with best practices of HR functions

Qualifications
- Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
- Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field
