About the role

Supports the organization by implementing and administering human resources procedures or policies. Assists with investigations regarding complaints, documents all information uncovered, and assists in the implementation of a resolution. Completes the new hire process for assigned facilities, including pre-hire paperwork and procedures. Tracks all terminations and new hire information for reporting purposes. Oversees pay increases and pay progressions. Completes benefit follow-up meetings with new hires. Processes various payroll tasks for assigned facilities. Understands and complies with federal, state, and company policy regarding breaks, lunches, overtime, etc., and tracks through the timekeeping system. Responsible for entering employees into the system of record and ensuring data integrity. Updates bulletin boards, labor posters, and shield updates. Manages assigned specialty projects or various HR tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Handles moderately complex issues and problems, referring more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • May require physical effort associated with using the computer to access information, or standing, walking, using stairs, and lifting needed to carry out everyday activities.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
  • Attend staff and/or customer meetings as required.
  • Take initiative to prevent non-conformities related to product, process, and quality systems.
  • Identify and report any issues related to product, processes, and/or quality.
  • Propose and implement solutions through appropriate channels.
  • Ensure solutions are effectively implemented.
  • Follow posted security procedures at all times while in the building.
  • Participate in safety and educational training programs.

Requirements

Education Required: High school diploma, achieved a GED, or earned the equivalent. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and/or 2+ years of relevant experience preferred. Experience Preferred: 1 year progressively responsible human resources experience. Must have the ability to provide guidance, work direction, and motivate others to obtain improved performance. Professional knowledge and experience in human resource management including problem-solving, conflict resolution skills, consulting skills, operational management skills, solid financial and analytical skills.

  • Possess strong arithmetic and reading skills.
  • Follow verbal instructions, written instructions, and company policies.
  • Be a self-starter, able to work independently and coordinate with others.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing stress and meeting productivity guidelines.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Pay and Schedule

Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00 + Shift Differential $0.50
