Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking an HR Data Transformation Intern to support the modernization of people analytics infrastructure by bridging business operations and HR data. This role will help translate organizational challenges into actionable quantitative insights and play a vital role in scaling data frameworks, optimizing reporting capabilities, and supporting analytics initiatives that shape workforce strategies across corporate and retail employee ecosystems. The intern will collaborate closely with HR business partners, People Solutions, Client Services, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to enhance visibility into people data and organizational insights.
- Partner with the Client Services team to execute a comprehensive data capstone project, translating operational challenges into scalable analytical solutions.
- Clean, transform, and analyze large-scale HR datasets using SQL, Python, and advanced Excel to support continuous process improvements.
- Assist in architecting and maintaining robust data pipelines using SQL and Python to extract, transform, and load complex employee and business data.
- Automate manual reporting workflows and optimize existing data processing scripts to enhance organizational efficiency and data integrity.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis on large HR datasets to uncover actionable workforce trends.
- Collaborate closely with HR business partners and Client Services leadership to define analytical requirements for strategic initiatives.
- Design and deliver the end-to-end Client Services capstone analytics project, presenting actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Translate complex quantitative findings into clear, compelling narratives and visual presentations for non-technical audiences.
- Assist in exploring and implementing emerging AI initiatives that support HR transformation and workforce insights.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, HR technology, or related project-based work.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI dashboard development and data visualization.
- Strong technical capability in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience working with large datasets and advanced Excel modeling, including Power Query, complex lookups, or VBA.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to build trust and work effectively across teams.
- Interest in retail, luxury, HR analytics, or workforce transformation is a plus.
- Recent graduate student pursuing a degree in a related field of study.
- Able and willing to work at the assigned location or travel between the New York corporate office and the Piscataway Client Services location, as needed.
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
Schedule
- Full-time basis for up to 37.5 hours per week from September 2026 to December 2026.
- 4–5 days per week on site, with regular availability across the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office in New York and the Piscataway Client Services location.
Pay
- Undergraduate Interns: $20/hour
- Graduate Interns: $25/hour
