Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Aid in new hire onboarding, employment verifications, and employee document management.
- Support I-9 processing and maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Respond to employee questions about HR policies, benefits, payroll, leave requests, and other HR-related topics.
- Provide administrative support for HR programs and initiatives.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling employee information.
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Review resumes and assist with candidate screening activities.
- Support job posting management and recruiting-related administrative tasks.
- Aid in new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
Projects & Process Improvement
- Participate in HR initiatives and process improvement efforts.
- Aid in policy updates, employee engagement activities, and HR communications.
- Assist with additional HR functions and special projects as assigned.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
- Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
- Internship, campus leadership, customer service, administrative, or office experience is a plus.
- Strong interest in developing a career in Human Resources.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Workday or other HR systems is a plus but not required.
- Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred but not required.
