Job Summary
The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for the Human Resources department by assisting with recruiting, onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, compliance, and employee engagement. Ensures HR processes are completed accurately, confidentially, and in compliance with company policies and employment laws.
Essential Functions
- Owns Paylocity optimization, process standardization, compliance and payroll reliability, and data reporting
- Provide administrative support in various capacities
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies by leading file conversion project
- Scan and upload I-9 files
- Assist in executing staff engagement activities
- Collaborate with departments to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Help maintain internal communication channels for HR and engagement updates via Paylocity Community Page
- Support Recruiting with external job postings, reference checks, and new hire merch distribution and inventory tracking
- Collaborate with HR partner Higginbotham, to complete the onboarding, offboarding, and promotion management
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, training sessions, and travel
- Support the planning and execution of various staff functions/activities including Christmas Party and Hope United

Non-Essential Functions

- Attend and participate in regular staff meetings and training
Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in HR or related field preferred. PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
Experience: 2-4 years of Human Resource operations & administrative support preferred. Candidates must possess advanced technical skills and proficiency in modern technology.
