HR Coordinator
About the role
The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource process at the business unit. Completes clerical duties, assists the HR Manager with recruiting candidates to fill open roles and aids in other HR functions.
Responsibilities
- Consulting with the hiring teams and identifying employment needs.
- Interviewing potential applicants regarding their skills, experience, and education
- Contacting references and performing background checks on applicants
- Informing applicants about position details, including working conditions, benefits, and duties
- Hiring or referring qualified applicants for the employer
- Conducting or helping with new employee orientation
- Keeping process paperwork and employment records
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Experience: 1+ years of previous clerical experience required
- Prior recruiting experience preferred

Physical Demands & Work Environment
Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials during the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts on occasion.
Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. Occasionally requires exposure to certain manufacturing areas that require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection.
