About the role
CHROME HEARTS® is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and driven HR Coordinator to support our expanding HR team. In this role, you will provide essential assistance to both the Talent Acquisition and Payroll Department, serving as a key point of contact for employees and candidates. You will also serve as an administrative pillar, playing a crucial role in supporting the leaders of these departments, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Support
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage onboarding for new hires, ensuring they have a smooth transition into the company. Support Employee Relations Manager with offboarding processes for departing employees, including managing all necessary paperwork.
- New Hire Orientation: Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations, ensuring employees receive an overview of company policies, benefits, and role-specific information.
- Candidate Scheduling: Schedule interviews and meetings with candidates, coordinating with hiring managers to ensure a smooth interview process.
- Offer Letters & Background Checks: Administer offer letters to selected candidates and manage the background check process, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Employee Referral Payouts: Track and manage employee referral payouts, ensuring that rewards are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Meeting Support: Take accurate notes during HR and talent acquisition meetings, ensuring action items and important details are captured and shared with relevant teams.
HR Support
- Employee Assistance: Provide day-to-day support for employees, assisting with various HR-related inquiries and offering solutions when needed.
- Assisting with Timekeeping: Reviewing timesheets or clock-in/clock-out records to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Benefits Enrollment: Helping with the basic administration of employee benefits, including enrolling new hires or assisting employees with changes.
- Payroll Inquiries: Responding to simple employee questions regarding payroll (such as confirming pay dates or explaining deductions).
- Processing New Hire Information: Assisting in entering new employee information into the payroll system, such as tax forms or direct deposit details.
- Updating Employee Records: Helping maintain accurate employee information, such as changes to personal details or pay rates.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in HR or talent acquisition coordination, with a focus on administrative support and recruitment processes.
- Experience with onboarding, offboarding, and handling benefits and employee inquiries.
- Spanish/English fluency is required. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in both languages.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to assist employees and candidates in a clear and supportive manner.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Familiarity with Rippling or other HR software platforms is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive HR and employee information.

Pay
The pay range for this role is $28 - $32 USD per hour (Hollywood, CA).
