Key Responsibilities
- Cook up employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Prepare offer letters, employment documentation, and onboarding packets.
- Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HR records.
- Manage HR documentation, policy acknowledgements, and compliance records.
- Track employee status changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Support HR audits and ensure documentation compliance.
- Coordinate candidate interviews and hiring activities.
- Aid recruiters and hiring managers with scheduling and candidate communications.
- Prepare hiring documentation and onboarding workflows.
- Serve as an HR point of contact for employee inquiries.
- Aid in employee engagement programs and recognition initiatives.
- Cook up employee communications and HR announcements.
- Support performance review administration and employee development activities.
- Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and employee questions.
- Track mandatory trainings, certifications, and compliance requirements.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Assist with immigration, E-Verify, I-9, and employment verification processes as needed.
- Cook up annual policy reviews and compliance acknowledgements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of HR, recruiting coordination, office administration, or related experience.
- Knowledge of HR practices, employment documentation, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Experience working with HRIS, ATS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting federal contractors or government contracting environments.
- Knowledge of onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance processes.
- Experience with SharePoint, HR platforms, or workforce management tools.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or HR certification (preferred but not required).
