Essential functions (responsibilities, tasks, supervisory needs)
- Complies with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
- Provides HR administrative support to HR and operations teams with administrative tasks, such as payroll and travel arrangements.
- Keeps records and completes employment related forms, and documentation including separation forms and related documentation.
- Aids in answering employees’ questions related to Dayforce, helping employees update Direct Deposit, W-4, address changes, etc., as needed.
- Performs data entry into HR database and runs various reports. (Maintain time and attendance system)
- Maintains confidentiality of department and associate information.
- Create and maintain records on employees, active vacancies and job applications.
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Assists with employee surveys, and helps conduct exit interviews, if needed
- Create, activate, and maintain employee ID badges, if needed
Required Qualifications (education, years of experience, KSAs)
- Minimum six months experience in administrative working environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task as well as organize and prioritize work tasks.
- Position requires schedule of 12+ hours per day, 7 days per week, and may rotate on a night shift.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with diverse populations and employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, set and achieve goals, and evaluate programs and procedures and recommend improvements

This job takes place in a typical office environment: temperature controlled with adequate lighting and has moderate noise.
Physical demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use a computer for long periods and often sit at a desk in an office environment.
- The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- May occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.
