HR Business Partner Temp
Role Description
Develop and maintain an effective and focused relationship with the client group, providing timely and accurate advice and support on all HR related issues.
Be an active member of the wider Americas HR department and coordinate with the HR teams based in Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong and EMEA in order to provide support to Global business heads based in New York.
Manage Various Activities
- Employee Relations - Provide managers with advice and manage a range of Employee Relations cases - including grievances, disciplinary, dismissal and redundancy.
- Learning & Performance - Support the performance management cycle and promotion process, contribute to the development of Talent Management offering in collaboration with specialist colleagues.
- Compensation, Benefits and MIS - Support the year-end compensation process ensuring meritocratic, consistent and fair decisions are made in line with regulatory guidelines and frameworks. Manage a variety of data sources to ensure accurate reporting.
- Change Management - Guide business managers through change management initiatives including restructuring. Work with the wider HR team to support additional areas of focus (e.g. Graduate Recruitment, Talent Management, Diversity and Inclusion and Wellness).
Skills, Experience, Qualifications And Knowledge Required
- 4+ years of experience in HR Business Partner role within Financial Services
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experienced HR professional who is able to operate confidently with senior level clients in a challenging, fast paced environment
- Practical experience managing employee relations issues and complex compensation structures desirable
- Provision of support and advice on all HR disciplines (Recruitment, Reward, Employee Relations, Learning and Performance)
- Proven ability to build strong relationships as a trusted advisor
- Commercial awareness and ability to evaluate people risk
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and relationships
- Knowledge of current US employment legislation and regulatory environment
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong PC skills; Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and data management skills
- Strong attention to detail
