Responsibilities
- Affirms areas for management development/improvement to optimize operational performance.
- Coaches managers to enhance their capabilities, collaboration, change management, and critical healthcare leader attributes.
- Leverages annual processes to identify opportunities for improving organizational structures, addressing competency and performance gaps, supporting talent development, and planning for the future.
- Promotes the completion of annual and ongoing performance management, compensation planning, and succession planning.
- Develops and delivers comprehensive people plans that align with strategic and tactical business goals.
- Sources management roles and selects exceptional talent.
- Manages employee relations, including proactive resolution of issues with union representatives and ensures accurate application of labor contract provisions.
- Fosters open and transparent communication, sharing key business and HR information effectively.
- Participates in system-wide projects and processes impacting organizational service delivery.
- Identifies opportunities for policy improvements and fulfills all compliance responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum formal education: Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as an HR Generalist
- Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines including compensation, organizational design, management development, employee and labor relations, performance management, diversity, and federal and state employment laws
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills, business acumen, and ability to grasp complex business issues
- Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and organizational/presentation skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Experience with human resources information systems, including report management
- Masters degree in human resources, business, organizational development, industrial/organizational psychology or other related discipline preferred
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, HRCI SPHR, or HRCI PHR preferred
