About the Role

The Senior HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to the Vice President of Human Resources, leading employee relations, professional development, HR policy administration, and organizational culture initiatives. This role partners closely with leaders across the organization to support performance management, ensure legal compliance, strengthen employee engagement, and help build a positive, high-performing workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary resource for employee relations matters.
  • Address employee concerns, complaints, and workplace conflicts professionally.
  • Conduct and document workplace investigations with fairness and discretion.
  • Coach managers on performance management and corrective action plans.
  • Support performance reviews and employee development discussions.
  • Promote a positive, compliant, and values-driven workplace culture.
  • Partner with managers to identify employee development opportunities.
  • Audit organizational training and development needs.
  • Cook up and maintain the company's Pillars Program learning framework.
  • Encourage career growth through coaching and development initiatives.
  • Lead and maintain the company's Pillars Program learning framework.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Monitor employment law changes and update HR practices accordingly.
  • Communicate policy updates and provide related training.
  • Promote consistency across HR processes and procedures.
  • Manage the shared HR inbox and respond to employee inquiries promptly.
  • Develop and maintain HR communication templates and resources.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, and workplace culture initiatives.
  • Cook up and maintain the company's Pillars Program learning framework.
  • Coordinate company events, celebrations, and appreciation programs.
  • Provide backup support for employee benefits administration.
  • Aid with additional HR projects and operational initiatives.
  • Lead and support executive leadership on strategic HR initiatives.
  • Build trusted relationships with employees and managers at all levels.
  • Provide guidance on sensitive and confidential HR matters.
  • Support organizational change and workforce initiatives.
  • Balance multiple priorities while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across Human Resources functions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of seven years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Strong expertise in employee relations and workplace investigations.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and Title VII.
  • Experience with HRIS data management.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or a comparable HRIS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Sound judgment, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an HR team.
