About the role

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a key liaison between the Human Resources department and various client groups within the organization. They are responsible for interpreting and administering human resource policies and programs, assisting employees with HR-related matters, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Interprets and administers various HR policies and programs, including employment, compensation, benefits, and employee/labor issues.
  • Assists employees in understanding and applying HR policies and procedures.
  • Manages program rollouts for employee benefits, including education, record-keeping, and documentation.
  • Maintains organization charts, creates purchase orders, and provides operational support.
  • Works with the HR Business Manager to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements, conducts investigations, and responds to employee issues.
  • Prepares HR-related documents and analytics, gathers employee feedback, and analyzes exit interview data.
  • Establishes and maintains employee data in HRMS systems and collaborates with HRIS for HRMS development.
  • Measures HR effectiveness and addresses issues as they arise.
  • Manages the site drug testing program and performs research as needed.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to HR management.
  • General knowledge of HRMS system applications and record/reporting methodologies.
  • Strong work ethic, results-focused, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions consistently with company policies.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent significant work experience preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Human Resources or related discipline for HRBP, 5 years for Senior HRBP.

Schedule
