About the role

The State of California is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic team. As an HRBP, you will collaborate with leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals. Your role will be pivotal in talent management, organizational development, and implementing effective HR policies and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to deliver HR solutions that support business goals.
  • Provide expertise in areas such as workforce planning, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Develop and execute talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment by championing diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to drive data-informed decision-making.

Requirements

To be considered, you must provide a fully completed STD 678 application and resume. Alternative documents submitted in lieu of required Application or Resume will not be accepted. Completed STD 678 must include duties performed, start and end dates, and hours worked per week for each position held.

Qualifications

Employees appointed to this classification will have their monthly salary reduced and will accrue hours of PLP 2025 on the first day of each pay period in accordance with the applicable bargaining contract. The salary range(s) included on this job posting do not reflect the reduction in pay.

Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are essential. Proficiency in HR software and systems is also preferred.

$7,872.00 - $9,781.00
