About the role
The Human Resources (HR) Business Partner II supports business objectives by providing consultative guidance on workforce issues. This role works closely with managers and employees to align with organizational policies and goals.
Responsibilities
- Provides consultative guidance and coaching on human resources-related matters.
- Serves as a workforce culture champion, promoting a positive work environment and employee experience.
- Promotes employee engagement through activities like employee recognition, education, and coaching.
- Partners with leaders to support the employee engagement strategy and facilitates focus groups.
- Collaborates with other HR Business Partners to ensure consistent policy interpretation and organizational practices.
- Interprets JPS policy and procedures for employees and leaders, providing advice on employment and disciplinary actions.
- Assists with preparing and maintaining regulatory readiness for assigned work groups, including file audits.
- Assists with reviewing survey results and building action plans in response to employee engagement, turnover, and cultural trends.
- Assists with the preparation of Human Resources reports.
Requirements
This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field, with 2-5 years of relevant experience. Professional in Human Resources (PHR or SHRM-CP) certification is preferred.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
