About the role
The HR Business Partner team supports scaling the organization and assisting its talented employees. Key responsibilities include:
- Respond to employee inquiries, questions, and complaints.
- Provide information, guidance, and direction on employee relations issues, performance management, and other core HR functions.
- Work closely with senior leaders and their teams on workforce analytics, organizational optimization, leadership development, and other strategic initiatives.
- Counsel and assist employees and managers, guided by the Company’s policies and relevant laws/regulations.
- Facilitate internal transfers, oversee and facilitate promotion opportunities, conduct exit interviews, and identify trends to support retention, career development, and minimize risk for the business.
- Implement key HR recommendations and change efforts.
- Create, document, and implement human resources policies, programs, and processes.
- Maintain employee files and process HR transactions in Workday.
- Uphold standards of strict confidentiality with respect to all matters and documents.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or HRBP, with exposure across other HR disciplines.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, dynamic business environment.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Experience working in the tech industry/supporting engineering teams.
- Demonstrated success at building effective relationships.
- Ability to lead with a positive attitude and approach challenges head-on.
- Experience independently handling employee relations issues.
- Familiarity with Greenhouse, UltiPro, and/or Workday.
- Experience using independent judgment to make decisions and organize/prioritize work.
- Demonstrated excellence thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends when needed.
Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Pay
$115,000 - $140,000 USD
Schedule
This is not a remote or hybrid position and will require relocation if not already local to the Palo Alto, CA area.
