About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Human Resources Business Partner to support our manufacturing operations and serve as a trusted partner to leaders and employees across the organization. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong employee relationships, and is passionate about driving workforce engagement, talent development, and organizational success.

The HR Business Partner will play a key role in employee relations, recruitment, performance management, workforce planning, and fostering a positive workplace culture while supporting business objectives and operational growth.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the company culture, values, and policies
  • Develop workforce strategies to recruit and develop qualified candidates
  • Promote employee advancement and recognition efforts
  • Advocate for employee retention and development (maintain and improve the apprenticeship program)
  • Manage data entry and maintenance of employee records
  • Oversee the New Hire Orientation Process
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
  • Participate in the investigation and guidance for disciplinary actions
  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior
  • Remain flexible and adapt to changes in the work environment
  • Exhibit excellent time management, problem-prevention, and problem-solving skills
  • Work accurately with close attention to detail
  • Possess a work ethic that includes neatness, punctuality, and accuracy
  • Exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Utilize basic computer skills, including email, Excel, and word processing
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate interaction with the workforce and resource personnel, both internal and external
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or a related discipline
  • At least five years of professional experience across all HR disciplines, including employment, benefits, compensation, employee relations, training and development, workers' compensation, and conflict resolution
  • Experience working in a manufacturing and printing environment is preferred
  • Experience working with a diverse workforce
  • Decisive and self-confident
  • Payroll experience preferred
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
