HR Business Partner

About the role

A rapidly growing PE backed Insurance company is looking to add an HR Business Partner to their already impressive team. The role involves aligning talent and people practices with business goals, fostering an engaged and high-performing workforce, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Partnership: Build partnerships to support business objectives and enhance employee experience through HR guidance.
• Organizational Development: Identify and implement opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness.
• Change Management: Guide leaders through growth and change initiatives.
• Talent Management: Support talent reviews, succession planning, and employee development.
• Coaching & Employee Support: Offer coaching on people management and serve as a trusted employee resource.
• HR Program Delivery: Implement HR programs aligned with business needs.
• Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Assist with recruiting, selection, and onboarding activities.
• Employee Relations & Compliance: Manage employee relations and ensure legal compliance.
• Learning & Development: Facilitate training to enhance organizational capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of progressive HR experience across multiple disciplines.
• Ideally with Insurance or Financial Services industry experience.
• Experience in a matrixed or complex business environment preferred.
• Knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and consulting skills.
• Ability to build relationships and handle sensitive situations professionally.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
