Summary Of Responsibilities

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a pivotal role in aligning HR initiatives with strategic goals of the organization, their designated site(s), and the HR team. The HRBP partners with leadership teams to drive employee engagement, talent management, and organizational development ensuring a high-performance culture that supports our mission and values. The HRBP is an employee champion and change agent who anticipates HR-related needs and proactively communicates between leadership and the HR team.

Talent Management

  • Facilitate new hire orientation at designated site(s).
  • Career progression, performance evaluation, skill development, and retention strategies.
  • Lead talent reviews, succession planning, high potential identification, development plan creations, and retention initiatives as designated site(s).
  • Maintain the “pulse” of the employees through a hands-on approach to ensure a high level of employee engagement.

Compliance

Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance with all state, federal, and local employment laws. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, addressing employee relations items as needed. Provide assistance and maintain credibility as a subject matter expert in HR practices, policies and procedures. Prompt and dependable attendance.

  • Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals and deal with others in an antagonistic situation.
  • Maintain the strictest confidentiality as it relates to, but not limited to, compensation, discipline, terms of employment, and personal relationships to preserve confidentiality of personnel.

Education And Work Experience

  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in HR or related field, with minimum of 3 years related work experience.
  • SHRM certified professional (SPHR, PHR or equivalent) preferred.
