About the Role
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic and hands-on HR leader for our Grand Prairie, Texas facility. This role partners closely with Operations and the Regional HR team to drive a positive, high-performance culture, manage employee relations, and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for leaders and employees in the facility, providing guidance on policies, performance, employee relations, scheduling, and workforce planning.
- Partner with Operations leadership to align staffing, shift structures, and workforce plans with peak season volumes and customer demand.
- Lead and resolve employee relations matters, including investigations, coaching, corrective actions, and terminations, ensuring consistency, fairness, and legal compliance.
- Coach supervisors and managers on performance management, goal setting, feedback, documentation, and development of production team members.
- Coordinate and facilitate new-hire onboarding, orientation, safety training, and ongoing HR/compliance training for managers and employees.
- Champion Sensaria’s culture by promoting engagement, recognition, inclusion, and open communication, with a strong focus on production and warehouse teams.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on hourly and salaried hiring, including interviewing, selection, and offers during both steady-state and peak seasons.
- Collaborate with Total Rewards to administer and communicate pay practices, shift differentials, incentives, and benefits programs, and support open enrollment and related campaigns.
- Maintain accurate HRIS data (Dayforce) for all facility employees, ensuring timely processing of job changes, pay changes, leaves, and terminations.
- Analyze HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, safety incidents, engagement indicators) to identify trends and recommend actions that support retention, productivity, and workplace safety.
- Support process improvements, organizational changes, and policy updates with effective communication and change management for hourly and salaried populations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws (including ADA, FMLA, EEO, wage and hour, and state-specific regulations), escalating risks and partnering with Corporate HR as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partner or HR Generalist responsibilities.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience applying employment laws and regulations (e.g., wage and hour, meal and rest breaks, leaves of absence, pay transparency, and local ordinances) in a multi-state environment.
- SHRM (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) and/or HRCI (PHR/SPHR) certification preferred, reflecting advanced HR knowledge and professional competency.
Skills
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish strongly preferred, with the ability to support a diverse hourly workforce.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, preferably Dayforce, with strong attention to data accuracy and process discipline.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, peak-driven environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality and sound judgment.
This role is onsite 5 days per week at our Grand Prairie, TX site.
