HR Business Partner

About the role

Piper Companies is seeking an HR Business Partner to join a leading global financial services organization in Wayne, PA. This is a hybrid work environment. This role will support HR Business Partners across multiple business units and play a key role in driving employee relations initiatives, supporting HR transformation efforts, and fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture. The position is a 6-month contract with potential for extension (not guaranteed).

Responsibilities

• Support multiple HR Business Partners across various business functions and initiatives.
• Handle employee relations cases, including performance management, investigations, terminations, and workplace concerns.
• Partner with HR and leadership to develop and implement retention strategies and employee engagement initiatives.
• Assist with HR transformation projects and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the HR function.
• Maintain accurate and confidential HR/ER documentation and case records.
• Provide guidance on employee relations matters while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
• Support employee-related projects and administrative HR initiatives within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations.
• Hands-on experience with performance management, investigations, and terminations.
• Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience working in a matrixed or global organization preferred.
• Financial services industry experience is a plus but not required.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.

Schedule
