About the Role
The Motorola Solutions HR Partner team provides support to senior leaders, managers, and employees around the world. Our business is dynamic, innovative and at the forefront of the industry—and our HR team mirrors this in every aspect. As an HR Business Partner, you will align business strategy with HR initiatives across assigned client groups, acting as a trusted advisor to leaders on organizational design, talent management, change leadership, and employee experience—balancing high-level strategy with hands-on operational support.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnering & Talent Management
- Drive talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, and Inclusion & Diversity initiatives in alignment with business goals.
- Diagnose organizational gaps, advise leaders on structure and culture, and support change management—including the integration of acquired companies.
- Lead annual talent cycles (merit, bonus, performance management) and partner with leadership on workforce planning and market benchmarking.
- Operational Execution & Employee Relations
- Handle end-to-end employee and manager inquiries. Conduct root-cause analyses to prevent repeat issues and recommend continuous process improvements.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies, regulatory compliance, and smooth offboarding processes (including exit interviews).
- Partner closely with HR Centers of Excellence (Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Benefits) to deliver seamless tools, systems, and services.
- Leverage HRIS data to track trends and present data-driven solutions to business leaders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Skills
- Proven track record as an HRBP in a fast-paced, high-growth, or scaling environment. PHR/SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms; Workday preferred.
- Ability to switch fluidly between high-level strategic initiatives and day-to-day administrative execution.
- Deep understanding of business strategy, strong analytical skills, and sound judgment in complex employee relations matters.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust across line-level employees and senior executives.
- Prior experience guiding teams through organizational change and successfully integrating acquisitions.
Travel
10-25% travel required.
Schedule
Hybrid schedule; 2 days a week in office.
Pay
Target Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000 USD. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
