About the Role
The Business Partner provides strategic partnership to business and operations leaders across Mosaic Life Care facilities, offering consultation on core HR services including workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, organizational excellence, caregiver relations, HR analytics, diversity and inclusion, and coaching and counseling.
Responsibilities
- Strategically partner with the business to ensure short-term and strategic goals are achieved through effective use of human capital.
- Provide strategic advice and consulting on key human capital issues, leveraging tools, data, and analysis to support decision-making aligned with the overall people strategy.
- Work closely with leaders to voice business needs to Talent leadership and gather feedback on Talent service delivery quality.
- Lead strategic workforce planning across facilities, ensuring alignment of resources with current and forecasted organizational needs.
- Support the business in delivering special projects (e.g., business reorganization, strategic talent programs).
- Monitor and report on key Talent performance metrics, productivity standards, and SLAs to ensure service targets are met and issues are resolved promptly.
- Proactively identify and escalate issues to Talent leadership as appropriate.
- Leverage Talent programs and processes to enable the business to develop and maintain the desired organizational culture.
- Ensure Talent programs and policies comply with regulatory requirements and align with overall organizational policies.
- Partner with fellow Business Partners, Recruiters, Solution Center caregivers, and Talent leadership to align programs and policies with the overall people strategy and business needs.
- Serve as an advisor to business leaders throughout the acute care transformation process.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar area (required or actively pursuing for attainment within an established timeframe).
- 3 years of applicable experience (required).
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification (preferred upon hire).
- Must be able to travel between various system facilities and off-site locations as needed.
Skills and Abilities
- Technical/Motor Skills: Proficient in using a personal computer and telephone. Strong computer skills in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with personnel data systems (e.g., Lawson) and Talent Management systems (e.g., Cornerstone) preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Diplomacy and adaptability to interact with upper levels of management.
- Mental Abilities: Strong logic and reasoning skills. Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple recurring and ad-hoc tasks. Analytical skills with extreme attention to detail. Ability to work well under time constraints, independently, and adapt to a fast-changing, complex environment. Must maintain confidentiality and use confidential information appropriately.
