Key Responsibilities
- Foster a positive work culture that supports employee engagement, motivation, and well-being.
- Develop and execute geography-specific HR strategies/policies in support of business objectives and alignment with overall company vision and goals.
- Ensure efficient day-to-day HR operations across the country.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Oversee onboarding, orientation, and integration of new hires to the organization.
- Oversee termination process for Canadian employees while ensuring legal and statutory compliance.
- Ensure proper administration of benefits, pension plans, and time-away policies while providing support to employees on benefits-related queries.
- Support organizational changes, including restructuring, mergers, and acquisitions, by helping manage communication, process changes, and employee impact.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to educate and align on Canada HR policy and initiatives.
- Communicate and collaborate with external stakeholders ranging from vendors to government and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of HR business partner experience.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and statutory regulations.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance big-picture goals with day-to-day operational requirements.
- Strong leadership presence, with the ability to influence/build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- High emotional intelligence and cultural awareness, capable of managing diverse teams.
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach with a high level of initiative.
- Demonstrated success and passion to lead in transformational and fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional communication (written, verbal), interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel occasionally across North America.
This position requires candidates to be based near our headquarters in Morrisville, NC and adhere to a 3:2 hybrid work schedule. This means three days on-site for in-person collaboration and two days remote each week, ensuring flexibility while maintaining strong team engagement.
