HR Business Partner
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic and hands-on partner to manufacturing leadership, supporting day-to-day HR operations and aligning people initiatives with business objectives. This role will work closely with plant leadership, supervisors, and employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to drive employee engagement, performance, and compliance.

This role will work closely with plant leadership, supervisors, and employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to drive employee engagement, performance, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR partner to plant leadership, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning
- Support daily HR operations within a manufacturing environment, including production and hourly workforce needs
- Collaborate with leadership to address workforce challenges and implement practical HR solutions
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and company values
- Partner with leadership to foster a positive, compliant, and engaged work environment
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and corrective actions
- Coach supervisors and managers on employee performance, documentation, and feedback
- Aid in training initiatives to improve leadership capability and employee development
- Partner with hiring managers to support recruiting efforts for hourly and salaried roles
- Develop and implement retention strategies, particularly for production employees
- Help drive onboarding and employee engagement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Support HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave management, and training
- Maintain accurate HR records and assist with reporting and HR metrics
- Support safety initiatives and reinforce compliance with workplace safety standards
- Understand operational needs such as shift structures, staffing levels, and production demands
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration is required
- 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment
- Experience supporting hourly workforce populations and working with front-line supervisors
- Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, food & beverage, distribution, or industrial environments
- Exposure to employee relations investigations and performance management
- HRIS experience (e.g., UKG, Workday, ADP)
- PHIR or SHRM-CP certification
