About the role
iRhythm is seeking a strategic and experienced HR Business Partner to support the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and Regulatory functions. These teams are at the heart of delivering safe, effective, and reliable cardiac monitoring solutions to patients around the world.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a consultant and trusted advisor to senior leaders across functions, aligning people strategies with business priorities.
- Partner with leadership to drive workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategies that enable business growth and scalability.
- Provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making across talent, engagement, retention, and organizational health.
- Lead and execute change initiatives, including organizational design, restructuring, and transformation efforts; often driven by innovative AI and technology-driven solutions.
- Consultative, thought partner to leaders in designing and recommending organizational models, influencing external best practices on spans, layers, functional and matrix operating models, to maximize cross-functional collaboration and performance.
- Audit organizational health using workforce data, employee feedback, and business metrics; translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Translate enterprise talent strategies into actionable outcomes for assigned business groups.
- Lead and facilitate talent reviews and succession planning processes, ensuring rigorous assessment and follow-through for critical and high-potential talent.
- Coach leaders on talent and development planning and leadership effectiveness.
- Partner with leaders to design targeted development plans and build strong leadership pipelines.
- Enable leaders to build high-performing, engaged teams by strengthening leadership capability and team effectiveness.
- Drive alignment to iRhythm’s culture and values during periods of growth and change.
- Partnership with HR Centers of Excellence.
- Reinforce HR Operating model with business leaders ensuring that HR Centers of Excellence (COE’s) are the direct point of contact for resolution of HR Operations (ASKHR), Employee Relations, Performance Management, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition needs.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver and reinforce enterprise programs.
- Partner with Total Rewards to advise on compensation and incentive strategies aligned to market, business priorities, and internal equity.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to support critical hiring needs, workforce planning, and talent pipeline strategy.
- Partner with Employee Relations team on complex employee performance and conduct issues, ensuring balanced, compliant, and business-aligned outcomes.
- Partner with Employee Relations and People & Culture team to identify trends on performance management, coaching, and corrective action to develop leadership and development programs for people leaders.
- Proactively identify and mitigate organizational and people-related risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years as an HR Business Partner with proven success in leading change initiatives, org design, and strategic workforce and talent planning.
- Experience in an HR organization with a mature COE HR Operating model preferred.
- Experience supporting hourly California-based employees and/or knowledge of California employment law preferred.
- Business Acumen: Demonstrated business acumen; aligns workforce plan to business strategy.
- Leadership & Impact: Operates as a strategic, thought partner initiating ideas and developing recommendations that will have broad impact across the business.
- Consulting & Influence: Proven ability to influence Director/VP leaders, push back constructively, and operate as a strategic advisor in complex environments.
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and hands-on.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong business acumen and ability to navigate competing priorities.
- Experience working in high-growth, global, or matrixed organizations preferred.
- Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
