About the Role
We are seeking an HR Business Partner to join our team in Austin, TX, reporting to the HRBP Director. This role will partner with business segments to develop and deploy strategic planning objectives, fostering a dynamic organization that drives significant and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Advise and coach the business on talent management matters, including HR requirements, workforce planning, management selection, executive coaching, performance management, retention, succession planning, and change management.
- Partner with local HR teams and Centers of Expertise to develop and deliver integrated people and organization solutions.
- Anticipate talent implications and impact on the organization, identifying issues and opportunities to close performance gaps and achieve strategic goals.
- Support business segments in cascading goals to align business and human capital strategies, ensuring effective implementation.
- Develop and deliver an HR strategy in collaboration with business and HR colleagues to meet business needs.
- Drive efficiency and positive organizational results through lean initiatives, aligning systems, processes, and structures to foster the right people behavior and engagement.
- Assist the business in making informed decisions regarding people investment for sustainable results.
- Develop and deliver cross-cultural communications and change strategies.
- Participate in mergers and acquisitions activities as needed.
- Plan, implement, and facilitate cyclical HR initiatives, such as workforce planning, performance management, rewards planning, training, and succession planning.
- Assist with HR communications and manager training on new programs, systems, and processes.
- Manage and direct duties of others, set goals, and drive initiatives.
- Build strong internal customer relationships to foster positive partnerships with the business.
- Ensure compliance with all HR-related laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in HR across all major functions.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of accountability for results.
- Sound knowledge of Organization Development, Change Management, and HR practices.
- Excellent business acumen and demonstrated competency in business partnership.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with senior management and communicate effectively across all levels.
- Strong project management, process management, analytical, and consulting skills.
- Ability to collaborate globally across boundaries, disciplines, and cultures, especially in a matrix environment.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and organizational skills with a strong process orientation.
- Advanced experience and skills in performing diverse HR functions.
- Thorough knowledge of the business segment and Flex business.
