HR Business Partner
About the role
The HR Business Partner role supports the strategic planning objectives of business segments to build a dynamic organization that drives significant and sustainable growth. The role works closely with business leaders and employees to ensure effective implementation of HR strategies.
Responsibilities
- Advise and coach business units on talent management, including HR requirements, workforce planning, management selection, executive coaching, performance management, retention, succession planning, and change management.
- Partner with local HR teams and Centers of Expertise to develop and deliver integrated people and organization solutions.
- Anticipate talent implications and impact to the organization, identifying issues and opportunities to close performance gaps.
- Support business segments in cascading goals to align human capital strategies with business needs.
- Develop and deliver HR strategies to meet business needs, driving efficiency and positive organizational results through lean initiatives, alignment of systems, processes, and structures.
- Drive informed decisions regarding people investments to achieve sustainable business results.
- Manage and/or direct duties of others, set goals, and drive initiatives.
- Build strong internal customer relationships fostering a positive partnership with the business.
- Ensure compliance with all HR-related laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and 3-5 years of progressive experience in HR across all major functions.
- Self-starter with accountability for results, sound knowledge of Organization Development, Change Management, and HR practices.
- Demonstrated competency in business partnership, excellent business acumen, interpersonal skills, and ability to build rapport with senior management.
- Strong project management, process management, analytical, and consulting skills.
- Ability to collaborate globally across boundaries, disciplines, and cultures, especially in an evolving matrix environment.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and organizational skills; strong process orientation.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish), knowledge of Flex tools, process, and procedures such as Kronos, Workday, GotIT, Equifax, ISO/RBA Audits, Employee Investigations, Staffing Agency Interactions, and reporting capabilities are preferred.
