About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources professional to join our team in a strategic and consultative capacity. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping HR strategies, providing expert guidance on employee relations, talent acquisition, and organizational development. This role requires a proactive approach to managing HR initiatives, analyzing complex data through dashboards and reports, and applying HR analytics techniques to inform decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership and stakeholders across departments to foster a positive work environment, ensure compliance with employment laws, and support the overall mission of Memorial Healthcare System. This position demands critical thinking, effective communication, and the ability to operate independently in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred
  • Certification in HR such as SPHR or SHRM-SCP is highly desirable
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Human Resources or a related field, with a preference for experience in strategic consulting roles
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting dashboards and reports containing complex data
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships with diverse groups
  • Knowledge of HR analytics techniques and their application in organizational settings
  • Able to work effectively under stress, exercise sound judgment, and make decisive decisions

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring the recruitment, retention, and development of top talent
  • Analyze HR data and dashboards to identify trends, forecast workforce needs, and support strategic planning
  • Provide expert guidance to leadership on employee relations, performance management, and compliance issues
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, workplace culture, and organizational effectiveness
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws and organizational policies, providing compliance training and updates as needed
  • Partner with various departments to understand their HR needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Manage HR projects, including talent acquisition, onboarding, and training programs
  • Consult with stakeholders to resolve complex HR issues and facilitate effective communication across teams
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, HR best practices, and legal developments to inform organizational policies
